A grant was awarded to The James F. Farr Academy, a school for at-risk students, for the expansion of its science laboratory and for the construction of a reference library room.

Lotts Creek Community School, Hazard, KY
Lotts Creek received a grant to partially fund a mentoring program conducted by at-risk students in the upper school for children who are struggling academically in the grade school.

A grant was given to Miss Hall's School to fund the EMERGE Leadership Research Project - a girl-driven, longitudinal, intergenerational action research project designed to foster girls' leadership and sense of personal authority.

A grant was awarded to New Roads School to take students musically trained in the school's Aube Tzerko Piano Academy into the community to share the students' prodigious talents through recitals and chamber music performances given for children in schools where music programs have been drastically cut and for senior citizens.
